Day 5 was yet another BIG day as the Junior Women, junior Men and Women preliminary heats and Mens Quarter finals all unraveled. Bussy showed why we call this “Big Wave Surfing” as some big airtime was handed out, but along with that where some massive beat downs. A few of the smaller, lighter, more retentive paddlers were literally getting tossed around on the wave. Not too may big surprises on the out come of this day as the best paddlers went out and did what they had to do. As for the Finals, what could I say that the Video can’t say for its self! With the paddling all wrapped up and the medals handed out it was time for the big “After Party”. Caladonia, the band, played for the party and really got things moving with an amazing performance.
