A hidden Gem? or Lurking Disaster! Deep in the Heart of the Ottawa Valley sits the bustling metropolis of Foresters Falls. On the surface it seems like any small quiet town but underneath its bridge you will find troubled waters. Minutes from the Ottawa river, 1000’s of kayakers have passed over it completely unaware - some would say ignorance is bliss. A few have stopped to take a look and even fewer have thought about running it - good decision making is key. Living 36 seconds from this water fall for the last 3 years I felt compelled to run it and, well Dan was probably more keen then any other.
