This place is unbelievable! Not only does it have some of the worlds greatest whitewater located in pristine gorges, but you can share it with any number of amazing local paddlers. Over the last couple years i’ve been lucky enough to spend some absolutely sick days on the water with good friends in my second home ... NZ ! Here is a short film from a couple kayaking trips in 2008. It highlights runs on the following rivers: Kaituna, Aratiatia Rapids, Huka Falls, Tarawera, Kokatahi, Arahura, Perth, Waitaha, Styx, Whitcombe, Maruia Falls, Kakapotahi.
